“This was a charming apartment in an old house. It had some imperfections, but most added fun character. Parking was easy and lock codes were provided before our arrival and worked. The stairs are not ideal, but worked for our family. There are long-term residents in the other apartments, but our interactions with them were good and minimal. We were visiting for a funeral and booked our stay last-minute and appreciated the ability for that. The host is very quick to respond. We did have an issue...

“This place was amazing!! They have absolutely Everything you could possibly need right down to the snacks n drinks. Outside was just as nice from the firepit, to the hottub. Great location as well. Loved it!! Celebrated a birthday with family and spent a day in CLARKSVILLE, TN. Will definately stay again. Thanks for Everything!”

“The hosts were wonderful! Excellent communication and very helpful. We enjoyed how quiet and remote it was. I filtered for a waterfront property and this one is up the hill from the lake, not on the water..but it was a nice, short stroll to the water every evening with our toddler so not a big deal for us. Caught a few fish, and made great memories in my home state. Would book again to visit Benton, or just to enjoy a few KY lake days and Belews (restaurant).”

“This was our 4th time staying at the this property and we already booked a week stay for next year! We love staying at this beautiful property. The house is clean with plenty of space for our family of 6. We put our boat in the water at the boat ramp about 5 minutes down the road and used the boat slip at the lakehouse all week.We had several nice mornings on the swing and campfires in the evenings with s'mores. We look forward to visiting again next year. ”

We intended on attending tater day festivities but they ended up being cancelled due to the monsoon level rain and storms that happened over many days. We were comfortable and safe and the home was cozy and had everything we needed to hang at the house. “At first we were a little apprehensive about the A/C (window unit in the living room), but it kept the house and cool. The driveway is a little ruff, but we have a truck, and the other couple has a Jeep, so it was fine. The house was very clean, and you cant beat the view! It is also close to shopping, and Land Between The Lakes recreational area. We had a wonderful time, and will definitely be looking at staying there again in the future.”

"We had a one night stopover during a road-trip. Paducah is nice little town with interesting history. The Respite is a beautiful place with great hospitality. The home cocked breakfast what’s served in the kitchen by the owner herself. We really enjoyed our visit!"
