“We had a wonderful stay. Our Carriage House was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful with blooming flowers, shrubs and trees. We arrived and was greeted by Dave with a warm fire in the fireplace. Dave and Sue were quick to resond to any of our messages. I hope we are welcome back. ”

“The cottage is a converted farm building with an eclectic collection of furniture which proved quirky but comfortable and our host was very friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days there. The steps up to the mezzanine bedroom are quite steep and narrow so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues but our adult son had no problems ”

“We were pleasantly surprised by the location and how well appointed the home was! We had a quick stay but it was a great stop and resting location. We walked to dinner at Ferguson’s and had a few pints while caring the Open with the locals. Very friendly and safe spot. Ciara, our host, was especially helpful and kind.”

“The cottage was great and well furnished. Caroline met us at the door even though we got in later than intended and gave us a tour then remained in contact with us our entire stay. She made sure we had everything we needed. Her and her husband are gracious hosts. We had everything we needed and more. They even helped us with suggestions of what to see and offered to make the arrangements for us. Great stay. ”

“We had a lovely stay in this house. Situated on the river, it was a nice and peaceful retreat. We were an extended family of 6 (all ages) and this house and surroundings suited us all. Close to Belturbet, Cavan town, Ballyconnell etc. I found this house well situated as a base for travel slightly further afield. Contact with the host, Anita, was easy and prompt. We had great fun with the pool table also. Great for all the family”

“Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay.”

“Rossnaree was a prelude to our son wedding at Cabra Castle, excellent!!!Our Rossnaree house stay was a perfect beginning. Spacious elegant house with a view of Newgrange, boyne river and the Irish countryside.We entertained the wedding party, 28 people, with an exquisite meal prepared by the hosts family. Cocktails, dinner and evening entertainment on the front lawn including a tent. Wonderful experience and great way to join two families together for the start of wonderful wedding...
