“This is an amazing stop for anyone riding the Katy (or anyone visiting Hermann). We found it a perfect stop at the end of the long day of riding. It was right off the trail and they made it easy (so we didn't have to go out that day). The communication was great; the place was lovely. We would absolutely stay here anytime I'm visiting this area. ”

“Some friends and I wanted a weekend away so we rented this location. We swam in the lake, grilled steaks, and sat around the fire until late into the night. The view is gorgeous and once you go inside the giant windows mean the view remains. It is spacious with plenty of beds. It has a very modern feel while maintaining a sort of rustic cabin charm.”

“Our stay in Hernann would have been perfect if the bed had been firmer which is imperitive for a good nights sleep. I pray the host will buy higher quality mattresses so that we can go back again and again. ”

“We stayed here for the Tour of Hermann Gravel Race. It was perfect for us! Plenty of places to sleep and we used the basement cellar to store and work on our bicycles! It was great! Casey’s was walking distance for the last minute necessities or morning donuts. I would make note that the frying pans could be replaced. The nonstick coating has worn off probably from the dishwasher so I had a small issue cooking breakfast (thankful for Casey’s being so close ha!) The waffle iron was an absolute...

“It was a wonderful stay for 5 of us girls going to Herman for a day at the Winery. This location was perfect, just 7 minutes up the road from Downtown Herman. The trolley picked us up with no issue. Very quiet location, perfect for a quick getaway!”

“Our family had a great weekend at the Sycamore Retreat. My kids (8, 12, 13) loved playing on the Lily Pad on the little lake and my son fished for hours. There are two beaches nearby, which we also enjoyed. The house is clean with plenty of space to spread out. Overall, it was the perfect weekend getaway. ”

“My family had a very nice stay at this beautiful house. The house is in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Everything was very clean and in good working order. The owner was very responsive to any questions. We also had a every good evening at a restaurant/bar a block away called Social House 227. Everything about our stay was pleasant. No complaints. ”
