“A very cozy, private place. It beats staying in a hotel room and it was priced about the same or even less. We enjoyed just sitting on the front deck and having our wine & beer. No view, but very peaceful and private. It was clean and well attended. It is older style. The futon in the front room was too low to floor for us older folks, but we managed. “Comfortable housing and amenities. We enjoyed our time here - 3 nights. Management was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy. The kids liked the pool and playground and the pond with its fountains and ducks. I liked having the washer/dryer in the home. There were a few things lacking such as dish towels, kitchen utensils/colander, a couple of hand towels, and a fire starter for the community fire pit.”

“We were in town for the Telluride Jazz Festival. Great location, spotless rooms, comfy bed, better than average hotel breakfast. Best part was it was only a 10-15 minute walk from our room to the Town Park stage. Parked the car when got in and it didn’t move until we left. Will definitely stay here again.”

“I was overall happy with my stay at the Fairmont FKL, with one very important exception (listed under cons below). Pros: Close to the gondola, has a nice spa and decent gym. Mostly friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Okay level of cleanliness. Cons: Rooms do NOT look like they do in the hotel photos, they are dated and in need of a renovation. Rooms also have no AC which was almost unbearable during hot summer days. The worst con of them all is, however, that I was contacted after my stay because...

“We booked Neal's place for the Telluride Bluegrass festival and it worked out great. It was about a 15 minute walk to the festival and in a good location. The place was as advertised and accommodated our party of 10. Guest parking instructions were a bit confusing but worked out okay for us.”

“We loved the beautiful location and access to the pool and hot springs. The breakfast buffet was also great. The RV bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa bed was a little rough. We loved that it was walkable to the Main Street and would definitely stay there again, ”

The city of Ridgeway was not far and Ridgeway had great restaurants to facilitate our stay around the dehydrated food we mostly ate on the hike! Fantastic views!! And wildlife!!!”
