“We were totally blown away by Lion Downe Cottage! The space was immaculate, the views were outstanding, it had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the great hot tub, grill, fire pit, and screened-in porch. Rob’s communication was helpful and prompt and we received some great tips for local swimming spots to enjoy the warm weather and explore this beautiful part of Wisconsin.Honestly this was one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever been in, and we absolutely want to be back!”

“Everything was great. A little older home. Smallest refrigerator would be the only take backs. Everything was clean and comfortable. Jilleen was quick to respond to messages and help with anything we needed. ”

“Beautiful walkout basement setup with gorgeous views in a nice area. Quality through out, this wasn't setup like it was a rental, but like their own home. We enjoyed having our dog there, but felt bad we had to check in with the owner to be sure their dog wasn't out at the same time. I have a nice dog, but she's old and not interested in other dogs anymore. Just a heads up, since I don't remember reading that in the description. The owner was very accommodating, so no complaints there. ”

“After several stays at this lovely property, it feels a bit like home away from home. A group of seven women shared a long horse show weekend and loved retreating at the end of the day to the comfort of this house. Thank you as always. We will be back!”

It was obvious the hosts have tried to make their guests comfortable and feel welcome. I expected parking to be challenging, but with the provided parking pass, it was a breeze. In downtown Stillwater, that should not be taken for granted.”

“Highly recommend! It exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully remodeled with attention to the details that ensure a comfortable environment for a wonderful vacation experience. Nice open floor plan with tastefully decorated common spaces, an very well stocked kitchen designed for cooking and entertaining! Really nice outdoor entertaining space as well. It was a short walk to the marina for a sail on beautiful lake Pepin and watch the sun go down.”
