“If you want to be remote from the world and just enjoy being together in a simple but very well presented cabin then this is for you. We played cards, read books, loved the wood fire and cooked up some good food. The walking track out back was a bonus. While out walking I spotted some deer grazing in a nearby paddock. “House is set up nicely to encompass both small and larger groups. Diff areas for the kids to chill out in. Kitchen living lounge area is welcoming and heated with a heat pump. Dry room also available for those avid outdoors peeps.Location is an easy stroll into town. Would highly recommend this property!”

“A perfect, cozy little chalet that the whole family loved. Excellent communications with the owner, and a clean, well maintained and cared for little chalet. Within two minutes of arriving the kids voted it the best Bach ever! Really hope to go back!”

“I had a truly wonderful stay. Although I was traveling for work this location was serene and surrounded by beautiful nature - Perfect for disconnecting and unwinding after a long day. The home was clean, cozy and thoughtfully prepared, well equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Kathie was extremely responsive, making the entire experience seamless. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet escape. I hope to return again soon. ”

“Just go to single room was nice and tidy comfortable, but you had to fill the jug in the bathroom sink. Base channels on TV couldn’t cast my phone to the TV to watch Netflix or anything. Apart from that really nice and polite place was tidy and clean. I’d stay there again.”

“Our group of four had a fantastic stay at Tracy and Steve's well-equipped property. The house had everything we needed - fully stocked kitchen, all linen provided, and a cozy fireplace that kept us warm. Perfect location for walking to town and driving to local attractions like the Tongariro River and Tokaanu Hot Pools.The road noise from Highway 1 was minimal and didn't affect our stay. Okay for one or two nights

"The location of the hotel is awesom but the hotel needs an update urgently. Wd had one of the more exensive rooms but the toilet was leaking, the fridge didn't work properly, we could hear the neighbours talking and snoring and the noise from the terrace lasted untill 10 pm. But the views on the vulcanoes are spectacular and the staff is serviceminded and friendly."
