The mattress in the main bedroom was very comfy and provided such a good night's sleep and being woken by bird song (although early) was lovely. The bathroom was very luxurious and the towels provided were very thick and good quality. The owner was great at communication and answered all questions promptly. We would happily rebook. ”

“a beautiful little cottage in a lovely area. Quiet and peaceful, neighbours lovely, loved listening to the geese, curlews, pheasants and the owls at night. The only disappointing item was the bed was so hard we have both walked away with a bad back. Some people don't mind a hard bed so this is not a complaint. We certainly would go back but would take a topper with us :)”

“We had a lovely six day stay. The downstairs of the cottage was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. A proper shower would have been nice, but we enjoyed the bath. A lovely stay!”

“We had a great stay here and really enjoyed the area and the property. My only two things to flag that I would have changed. Were it was only very near our stay that we were informed we would need to bring our own towels. We felt this should have been highlighted before booking. And we were disappointed that there was no milk to start us off as it is quite a rural area and we arrived later in the evening. ”

“This really is a stunning property, it is well catered for families and dogs too. The location is spot on and there is tons to do around the area with amazing walks and scenery to local markets and nice restaurants and pubs. Jo is a fantastic host and we can't wait to get back there next year. “This was a fantastic cottage with all the mod cons and incredibly clean, lovely beds and towels and biscuits and milk left for us also.We did think there would be a back garden with grass as we had taken our little dog with us but there was'nt. My husband did find a very large field with right of way about 2 mins walk away so little dog loved it so not so much of a problem. ”
