“We really enjoyed our peaceful getaway here. Everything was very clean and we were grateful for all the amenities and furnishings that were provided. We spent most of our time exploring Jackson, Mo which is very close to this property. Thank you for a unique and positive experience! We hope to come back for our 25th.”

“Three generations found rest,beauty,& joy at Serenity South. Thoughtful touches,beautiful gardens and Cape charm made this more than a stay-it became a treasured memory. We were so appreciative of the details, the fresh flowers, homemade cookies, the coffeemaker upstairs and the books and games. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed this historical home and our stay. ”

“Very clean and comfortable. I would have like either a bench or chair for my luggage, and I would have liked the door going to the backyard useable. Other from that we very much loved the house.”

“The home was beautiful inside and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the area was quiet. My father and I really enjoyed our stay. I would stay there again over anywhere else I have stayed in cape. ”

“2nd time staying here Suzzie is a great host goes out of her way to make sure you’re happy the coffee pot went out the day after we got there didn’t look very old told her about it and that it wasn’t a big deal we just boiled some water and poured it t the filter about a half hour later she showed up with another one looking forward to our next trip there so peaceful relaxing and quiet can’t wait ”

“We loved the cabin! We couldn’t hear traffic and the fireplace was so peaceful and relaxing. We never even turned on the TV, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet. I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!”

“Nice and quiet place out away from it all. Between the lake and game barn, there was plenty to do for everyone. The hosts are very nice and were always helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.”
