“Quiet, peaceful retreat near a lake. Everything was clean and orderly, the screened in porch was lovely.”

“Expecting a 5 bedroom setup. King bed and bunk bed in basement together. Not possible to separate the sleepers. Would like to know the rules before I arrived. Street is busy with fast drivers. We made it work. It was nice to be back in the area. ”

“The host Deb was very responsive and helpful with check-in. The house was clean when we arrived. There were also fresh baked cookies for us. We were in town for a wedding and needed an early check in for changing prior to our event, the host was very accommodating. ***One thing for the host to check out is a possible clogged plumbing vent as there is noise in the kitchen sink after flushing the downstairs toilet.”

Even got to see the Tulips and Twlight event. House was clean and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. “We had a lovely time. Our extended family was in town and the layout was great for a large number of guests. Each room had enough space for privacy, but was close enough for everyone to know what’s going on. The house could use some freshening up. It was clean, but some things didn’t work, like the coffee pot, oven, some burners, the fireplaces. But the house is well equipped so we made due. Plenty of sheets and towels were provided. We would book it again!”

“Really appreciated how clean the property was. The house has been updated and felt fresh. Typically, when we enter any rental, there’s a chemical smelly plug-in in every room and every closet. They were still in the property, but this was not overwhelm chemicals. It was truly fresh and clean. We also appreciated all the little condiments and special things left to help us in case we forgot. Equally we liked that we didn’t have to throw excess away when we left the property, like unopened soda...

“A must see Kansas Jayhawk themed flat located in the heart of shopping and restaurants in Downtown Lawrence. We were able to walk to campus within minutes.This property had everything needed for either a short weekend or a long stay. We will definitely be staying here in our future trips to Lawrence. Thanks to the gracious owners for such an exceptional experience!!”

“This is an adorable older home that has some really nice features such as the upstairs master bedroom bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The oven did not work in the kitchen when set to bake and there were no oven mits. We did notify the owner of this when we left so hopefully that is fixed for future guests. The bed was comfortable and the home was spacious and the right size for the two of us and our two dogs. There is a small back yard space that would be perfect if it were fenced in down the road....
