“The cabin is new, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Also dog friendly!! The kitchen has everything you need. The bedding and mattresses were very comfortable and nobody had any complaints at all! Perfect for those in the area for outdoor adventures such as hunting and fishing. “A group of us was in town for a fishing tournament and the location was close enough to Pierre, SD. It would be a really good location if fishing Oahe. Lots of parking and good size house for all the guys. Clean and great communication from the host/owner. Had a gas grill with plenty of propane. I definitely would stay at this place again. ”

“This was a great place to stay for the wife and I for our family reunion nearby. It was clean and the amenities were perfect. Plenty of space to park the boat. Great view too! Cutter was a great host. The only negative about this trip was that the Chantier Creek launch was closed due to water level. Not the host’s fault obviously. I would definitely stay here again for a getaway.”

“Came to Pierre from Yankton SD to celebrate my oldest son's birthday. We were able to cook and have the family together in a very nice setting. Location is great for getting whatever you need while you are there. If you are looking for perfection, it's not for you (it's not a brand new house). But it was great for us, very comfortable and enjoyable. And the host couldn't have been nicer. I suggest calling him if you reserve it, some kind of breakdown between him and the VRBO site.”

“Nice little place with modern appliances, a good shower head, Roku TV, clean, and very well stocked. I arrived on 12/23/23 to a wreath on the door and a lighted and decorated Christmas tree in the living room. We had a blizzard and got snowed in the day after Christmas. Stan, the owner, sent a guy over to shovel out the driveway. He also brought a new shovel to leave at the property which I soon put to use after the snowplows came by and blocked the driveway.
