“The property was comfortable and clean. Two screen doors and screens on windows were fantastic because i like sleeping with the windows open and the temperature was perfect. Outdoors areas including front patio and back porch were terrific assets for us. We like to relax outdoors. This property is close to everything in town - easy walk to most places we wanted to visit.”

“Getting to the house is a bit of an adventure as it’s many miles down a washboard dirt road however, one you arrive and come and go you get comfortable with the driving options. “It’s a pretty isolated property. Lots of peace and serenity. The kids did dogs and s’mores after building a campfire. If you have a Tesla this probably isn’t the best place. Taos does not have a supercharger and the closest one is in Sante Fe. Actually I would stay away from Taos all together if you have a Tesla. “We savored time with family members after our daughter's wedding. We enjoyed coffee in the backyard every morning and time by the fire pit at night.Every room is beautiful and spacious. “We stayed at this beautiful casita for 9 nights in May. Listened to new birds, saw new stars and satellites and tripped into Taos and Arroyo Seco for great art and food. This casita was full of interesting and unusual art and relevant books. Also the kitchen was a cooks dream. The pantry even contained most of the basic supplies and spices we needed to make green pozole! Our hosts were extremely responsive to the few questions we had. “It is a historic home in a nice little town way up in the mountains. There is a small store, gas station, clinic, and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We were visiting for a graduation, and the house is only a block away from the school. The house is obviously remodeled. The wifi was excellent, never had a problem with it. We enjoyed ourselves completely. ”
