“Our 3 teens were happy with lots of space. We did have perfect spring weather and enjoyed the deck- sunbathing, reading, watching deer and wild turkeys, and cocktail hour with the sunset. Steve is a very responsive host and it was easy to communicate with him. We have family in Red Bluff and will definitely book again and recommend to others. The dog friendly yard and home is perfect if you are bringing your dog. ”

“This home is meticulously updated from top to bottom. The pictures are very nice but do not do it justice. It is very spacious with an open floor plan that allows guests to all be together yet various areas to split off to have separate conversations. There is a great balcony patio outside with nice view of the river from inside and outside the home.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Nice rental inside the country club with access to recreational areas of the club. Great host, prompt responses and instructions. John also helped with shipping my keys I had left behind at the property during checkout. Property is as shown in the photos. Kitchen is adequately equipped.Patio in the back is big and very relaxing. Great view of the lake from front porch and upstairs bedroom. Overall a great experience and host. Would love to come back.”

“Stayed at this wonderful house right on the Lake and in the Country Club. Fantastic area to be and so very relaxing. House is perfect for families to stay and unwind . Close to golf and resorts . Quite a few stairs to water , but they have benches along the path for people to rest and take in the views. Fun time was had by all.”

“My friend and I each had our own room at the B and B while our group of 10+ friends camped at Manzanita Lake. It worked out great. Our hosts were attentive and experienced and helpful and fun to stay with. Would definitely go back!”

“The RV we had reserved did not have a functioning refrigerator so we were "upgraded" to a larger place. It did not have the same amenities as the original place. Instead of a full kitchen, there was a hot plate and tiny microwave. Instead of a dinette table, there was a postage stamp sized table that barely held 2 plates. There was no couch. . The bunk beds were wedged next to the refrigerator so every time the refrigerator kicked on, the sleeper was startled awake. The location itself was quiet...

“From the moment you pull up to the Hobbit Hole you begin to notice all of the care and detail that make this space so magical. The hosts are on the premise and are so kind and make you feel so welcome, so at home. Opening the door to your room is like opening the door to a new world. “We were heading north on a ten day tent camping trip and needed a place to stay for a night where the loaded down truck would be safe over night. So glad we found this place. My 10 year old son and I very much enjoyed the stay and it is as expected, super cool. Staying in a hobbit hole has now been checked of the old bucket list. Definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure we will be back. ”

“It was a beautiful outdoor property but the roof leaked downstairs from the jet tub so wasn't the first time because of the rusty water that was leaking they said they had a family crib but didn't out that it had to be requested and told us we won't get one i would be cautious of them ”
