The host was wonderful and gave us excellent instructions on how to get checked in a few days before our trip and made the process super easy. “the stay was nice.. i was a little confused because i thought the one room had a bunk bed with a queen sized bed as bottom bed but know no garbage bags no book with directions on how to get on internet or what was expected to do before we left. “This is a very cool property rich in history with an awesome view directly on Lake Erie. We stayed an entire month & it was very accommodating for long term stays. We stayed in the large 2 bedroom apartment upstairs. There is also a smaller 1 bedroom apartment upstairs which we saw and was very cool as well. “The house has a lot of character, is very unique, quirky and eccentric. It was a little too old fashioned/crammed for our taste, but our children loved it and thought it was magical! We had a little issue on the first day but the owner took care of it right away and even gave us use of the Suite at no extra charge for the weekend for our inconvenience. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is absolutely no water pressure. Showers were quite a challenge. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.”
