“This house is even better than described. I have rented many homes that say they have a fully stocked kitchen, but Lone Retreat means it! Quality - and quantity - of everything you need to enjoy homemade meals during your stay. High-end appliances and coffeemakers, too. “Lovely and clean cottage in a rural farm neighbourhood. Very peaceful and quiet. Comfortable for a couple to stay here. Great location within finger lakes region of New York State for wine and cider tastings and visits to state parks. Central to Ithaca and Watkins Glen, and reasonably close to Corning to see the glass museum, which is a must for everyone. Cottage is lovely and clean with modern appliances, bathroom, and kitchen, but at the same time has a rustic feel. Thank You Liza!”

“This was the best VRBO experience we have had. This is really a "spa like" home. The owner has really done everything possible to make this a relaxing and comfortable space. The hot tub was great as was the infrared sauna and salt rooms. Great location to all Finger Lakes and wineries. Hiking trails are everywhere. So close to Watkins Glen but still is a rural setting. Absolutely recommend this location.”
