“A delightful place. Having the lake to ourselves with magnificent views plus a property that has plenty to keep everyone active--including the very active 4 year old in our group--was amazing. Do note that the downstairs bathroom has narrow doors so mobility impaired people may not be able to access it without assistance. ”

“We loved staying here. Originally our plan was to explore the area but we loved the house so much, how comfortable it was, how beautiful, that we found it hard to actually motivate to leave. The kitchen has everything you could want and we enjoyed the hot tub, the state of the art speakers, the multiple board games , the large tvs, the books and the arcade games. “We were not able to stay at the property but Katherine, the host, was very nice and responsive when we called for help. The email Vrbo sent with the directions to the property were not correct. It sent us to a totally different property in an entirely different location of the property we rented. We searched and searched from around 5:30 in the afternoon until about 7:30 but to no avail. “We really enjoyed totally this Candlewood lake house. it has a fantastic view and a large, beautiful lawn with a fire pit. The owner was a pleasure to work with and she even allowed us to check in a few hours early.The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. The views are fabulous, but if you bring your own boat, the property is at the tip of the lake and the water can be a little rough from other boats going by. ”

“We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.”
