“This rental was amazing. The property was so beautiful! The cottage was much bigger and prettier in person. There was a private rocky beach, so swimming, kayaking, etc was so easy to access. The property owner, Helena, was so helpful and quick to text with any questions we asked. We rent a lake cottage every year, and this was the best one yet! Gorgeous, relaxing, fun! What else could you ask for? ”

“The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked! The host communicated his availability and made sure everything was okay after we had been there for a day. “We loved staying here! The home is beautiful, clean and updated. It is centrally located to many Thousand island towns, which we visited. We loved relaxing on the deck and the rocks for the waves, sunsets, and fishing. There was only one bad part having to leave! A grill, firepit and a raft would be bonuses. Mosquito zappers or citronella candles are much needed. ”

Extremely well appointed in terms of kitchenware etc. in general it is clear the owners have looked to make this as pleasant an experience for guests as possible. “We enjoyed or stay at Capt. Bernie's place in Clayton. A nicely decorated and very clean house on a quiet dead end street. The hosts supplied everything needed for a stay of any length from pots, pans, dishes in the kitchen, to snacks, coffee and ice. Bathrooms had shampoo, soap and bodywash. Towels were fantastic! Wouldn't hesitate to stay with the Captain again!”
