“Perfect house for a long weekend exploring the Speculator area! Very clean and up to date but still feels like an escape. Walking distance from everything in town and countless hikes and things to see within a 10 minute drive.Very comfortable beds, super clean and functional kitchen with everything you could need. Shower, sauna, everything was top notch. If you've stayed at other places in the Adirondacks, you know some places can be a bit worn out but this is a really well kept property. Owners...

“My wife and I loved our short stay at The Lorca. It is nice quiet location and it was convenient to our dinner cruise on Raquette Lake.”

“The pictures on the listing don’t do the place justice. It was very nicely setup Bed was super comfy! It was a cute little cabin to stay in!”

“We were very happy with the cleanliness. We loved the beds and we loved the little European look to the room. Definitely will consider staying again if we are up around that area.”

“The place was nice but, very small for a family of four. The shower was super small and the floor in-front of it felt like it might cave in. The beds were nice and the coffee was nice. We didn’t use the fire pit but, that was nice as well. It is very rustic like a lot of places in the area. But, we’re able to do what we needed to do.”

“Check in process was very straightforward. Place was very cute and cozy, and included all the basics such as a coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and linens. Got a little chilly at night but between the heater and the space heater we were perfectly comfortable. Nice and quiet location, <10 mins from Stewart’s. Be prepared to drive 20+ minutes for restaurants, especially if visiting off-season as many close seasonally. Overall a great place and a great value, would definitely stay here again!”

“Our family has rented many homes and this was one of our favorites. Detailed decor, clean, spacious and excellent communication with the owners! ”

“So relaxing the home is very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with dish’s & pans. Beds comfy & even though there is a main road it’s very quiet. We enjoyed setting on the deck & the inside loft game room watching the deer & turkeys. The home is so well insulated u can’t hear outside noises & it’s not drafty. For those rainy days there are plenty of board games, puzzles & DVD to keep you entertained. Lots of hiking trails within a short drive & quant town close by. ”
