“We booked because our grandson was playing in Cooperstown All Star Village!!! Go Currituck Thunder for winning the monster bracket championship!! The drive back and forth to field wasn’t bad at all!! It was nice coming back in the evenings and feeling like you’re at home. House stocked nicely and host were awesome!! Let us in early and responded very quickly with any questions I had!! Thank you for sharing your home with us on such a special special week of baseball!!”

“The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

It took them 72 hours to respond to a message. The hosts themselves were wonderful and went above and beyond by having single serve juice and water in the cabin. “I felt I had an entire house to myself. Just beautiful. Very clean, comfortable and private. Morning scones were a treat. I just wasn’t sure which entrance to use. Loved the red poppies. I went home and preferred some for my garden. ”

“A lovely spot by Colgate and next to a reservoir! Saw loons and other wildlife. Had some issues with the cleanliness of the place upon arrival and had to go get some supplies that were not available. With some care and attention, this will be a lovely weekend getaway.”

“Would recommend to anyone. Our family stayed here in 2014. Upgrades on furniture since then we're great. Beds were all comfort, which is huge for us since we used them all. Three generations of us enjoyed the property, house and that fantastic view. What was our family farm (1940’s) could be seen across the valley making it extra special. Thank you to our awesome hosts. Your place allowed us to gather together for a tough weekend.”
