“A really cool experience to stay in a renovated barn so close to Colgate’s campus. It was a 4 minute drive but felt like a world away. Very quiet location with an impressive stream to walk to on the property. We loved our stay!”

“The owner was above and beyond excellent! The home was everything we could have imagined! Spotless, comfortable, neat and so clean- I would never look anywhere else to stay if we were in the area again! It was Awesome -”

“The cabin looked as if it has had some nice updates inside with laminate flooring, carpeting and paint as well as newer kitchen area. It was decorated very nicely and was clean and comfortable. However, it is still a cabin in the country and retains its rustic feel. We spent most of the time at All Star Village which was about a 30 minute drive through beautiful rolling countryside and charming villages. If we had a booked for another day or 2, we would have been able to enjoy the deck, the...

“Would recommend to anyone. Our family stayed here in 2014. Upgrades on furniture since then we're great. Beds were all comfort, which is huge for us since we used them all. Three generations of us enjoyed the property, house and that fantastic view. What was our family farm (1940’s) could be seen across the valley making it extra special. Thank you to our awesome hosts. Your place allowed us to gather together for a tough weekend.”

“The house was beautiful and even bigger than we expected. The grounds around the house (sheltered patio, fire pit, pool, etc.) were a delightful addition to our group’s stay as well. The host was very nice and made the check in and check out process very easy. The only issue we faced was that the house got very warm as the house is not air conditioned, though there were a few floor AC units and fans available. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return in the future.”

“attended the blue's festival was a great time. we were right across the street from it a short walk. the apartment was an old Victorian home with charm. there was a couple things that needed repair, the kitchen faucet came off and the floors were dirty. We were not in the apartment very much so it really wasn't a big deal”

“This quaint and very comfortable Lakeside House is a fabulous retreat! The house is clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with the essentials. The furnishings and beds are very comfortable. The view is stunning and ever changing with interesting wildlife. We particularly enjoyed using the Kayak(s) and the firepit. The shed had plenty of supplies for aquatic activities and grilling. “Outstanding giant cabin, perfect for a large group. Plenty of sleeping rooms, relaxing and common areas, outdoor space. All the amenities that were supposed to work, did. Pretty much anything you could possibly want, was somewhere in the house. The decor was eclectic, hunter, traveller, collector. I picked my room based on a little statue in it. Nice touch faux-family pics. We had a great trip, and would absolutely recommend the property, and go back. ”
