“This house was prettier and more special than the pictures display. What a gem! We came in for my son’s wedding- family of the groom and it was perfect for my extended family to hang out, including my 92 yr dad. We relaxed in between activities- it is extremely convenient to Louisville and any nearby stores for last minute needs for events. Each room and patio gave a feeling of zen, peace, beauty, a wonderful way to quietly start and end the day plus also entertain in with brunches and family...

“My husband and I had a wonderful two day stay. The cabin is so charming and well kept. It's far enough away from town to be quiet and peaceful, but close enough (10 minutes) to town if we needed to run to the store. There were even snacks, bottled water, and coffee, which we greatly appreciated. We spent most of our time sitting on wrap around porch and in hot tub! Such a relaxing trip! It was the perfect getaway. ”

“This home is perfect for a larger family or a couple of families traveling together. There’s plenty of space inside to spread out or to all be together. There’s a wonderful front porch where you can enjoy the birds coming to the birdfeeder seeing the hummingbirds and the woodpeckers and the bluebirds. In the backyard there’s a place to sit and eat outside. There’s also a fire pit together around or if you feel like a short walk you can take a hike down to the creek where when there’s enough...

“This rental property was the perfect for my family to visit for a week. It was rainy most of our stay however this house has enough entertainment inside that we still had a wonderful time, playing darts and pool in the basement with a variety of board games to entertain all age groups. The back porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening conversations. We even had a nice fire in the backyard a couple of nights. This was the perfect home for my family vacation.”

Missing lightbulbs in light fixtures, not providing luggage racks, and nightstands in some bedrooms would have added to the amenities. “Cabin and property are beautiful! The old cabin has a lot of charm and is well decorated. Porch that overlooks the pond was one of my favorite spots...spent every morning out there with a cup of coffee watching the wildlife. If you want a relaxing place to get away from it all for a bit, I would highly recommend this cabin!”

“We love this house. This was our second stay. We came both times with a few other couples to do Bourbon Tours and Tastings. The house is comfortable with plenty of space for 4 couples. The view is amazing. Just a great place to stay! ”
