“Pros-the inside of the house was nice, boat dock was great to have, and the lake view was amazing. If there is an issue, the property manager was amazing! Cons-the wifi or even cell service is next to nothing, which also means there is limited tv/streaming. The deck attached to the house was real dirty. Couldn’t sit on the cushions-they were so dirty. There is also not an ice maker in the house-just ice trays.”

“Great little cabin for a two-day stay passing through the area. Remote enough to be quiet, and close enough to services in Seymour and surrounding areas. The cabin was good for the amount charged, nothing fancy, everything in working order. The hot tub was basic but nice to have for sure. We appreciated the good communication from the host. I would consider again if travelling through the area on a budget.”

“We were visiting Johnson College about 20 minutes away. House located in quiet neighborhood but close enough for groceries etc. host was especially helpful in arranging for us to spend an extra night. Good experience. Thank you”

“Delightful patio and view. Hot water worked, bed was comfortable, sheets were clean and useable, fridge and appliances all worked,. On the negative, some of the towels were old and scratchy, the living room A/C was noisy. Although building access was good, the windows are weak points in the security of the apartment. The outside of the building is badly in need of maintenance. And, please tell renters about the very tight parking space. ”

“I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings with very tall grass around it. The basement ceiling is very low so even a 5’5” person has to bend down to shower. The upstairs bedroom has an exhaust fan in it, with a sign that says to turn the fan...

“No room to park even a small trailer at bottom of driveway. Boat parking IS allowed overnight at the Anderson County launch ramp. ”

We drove down for family weekend and She decided that a quiet weekend on the lake would be better than the hustle bustle of Knoxville. We hired a fishing guide to take us fishing and then watched the football game on TV. The house was perfect. ”

“Our group of six 54 and over teachers traveled to Carden’s Cabin for a weekend away to celebrate the retirement of two of our friends. The GPS directions caused some issues but Ryan was a phone call away to help us get to where we needed to be. We have enjoyed many rental properties together. This one is by far the best we have had the pleasure of experiencing. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. It was spotless, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We were amazed by the details and by...

“Location was great. Quiet and peaceful. Close to Knoxville, Gatlinburg, etc., so easy to get around. Only suggestion would be a deep cleaning before the vacation rush. ”

“We will be back. Easy to find and just a few minutes away from town. Showers were super nice. Felt like home away from home. Super easy check in and such a beautiful stay especially it being a dog friendly place. ”
