“There were 8 of us and we all had a wonderful stay. The boat was a perk we really enjoyed! We fished, we cooked, we laughed. We saw deer, a coyote, lots of great blue herons. Some played pool and some played pacman while enjoying records on the turntable. Highly recommend this place!”

“The description was perfect and everything was very clean. Lots of room inside and easy parking. Everything we needed was provided, and the host was quick to respond to any question I had.”

“This is a great option for independent-minded travelers who want something clean and spacious near the university. There is not much in the way of front desk staff but they communicated smoothly about check in and check out. There is an excellent bakery downstairs on the premises. The kitchen is stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, etc. Tons of space. There is a bit of street noise as the property is at a busy intersection, so bring your earplugs just in case. Overall, good value.”

“Felt like home away from home! Instructions for check in and out were very clear and helpful. Great location to explore the covered bridges or spend the day at Turkey Run. Highly recommend this home.”

“We had a wonderful stay for three nights! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and pan you could imagine! The balconies were perfect for enjoying your meals with a view! The beds and furniture were very comfortable! There were movies and games for us to utilize during our downtime in the evenings! And my gamer kid and phone addicted teens had no issue utilizing the wifi! Highly recommend!”

“We were in town for a baseball tournament. Had two families (5 people, 3 people). The basement was perfect for one family and the upstairs was perfect for the larger family. The property was clean. Good communication with the owner. Everything we needed was there including garbage bags, toilet paper, laundry soap, dish soap etc. We had a great stay. The beds were super comfortable too!”

“Rented this home for U of I graduation. It is conveniently located - just about 5 minute drive to campus. Neighborhood is quaint and quiet. House had ample space and the kitchen had adequate amenities. Plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towels supplied. We hung out in the backyard which had a nice patio table and chairs. Charming house in a charming, walkable area. We would certainly stay here again. ”
