The house had plenty of room for the 8 of us and the location is perfect for walking to the multiple sports stadiums, restaurants, and Greektown. Check-in is very easy and there's surface parking and garages nearby. I will definitely be coming back here for future stays in downtown Detroit

The Beaubien House was the perfect venue for our needs surrounding our son’s wedding at the St Peter and Paul Church and reception at The Highlands in the Marriott Renaissance Center. Ed was a pleasure to work with, being timely and receptive to our requests. The gathering spaces on the first and second floors, along with the bedroom spaces on the third floor were perfect. Overall an amazing space with history and functionality. Thank you Ed!

This place seems nice from the pics but in person it is quite the opposite. - Trash everywhere outside - At night, there’s giant rats that live underground on the back patio (do not have access) which you can see running around. - Parking is not free. If parking outside the building it is $50/night/car. Or park 8min walk away which cost approx. $10/night/car. - At night the whole area turns into a giant party and cars parking inches from yours. - Cops are stationed outside at night, heavily armed. - Felt very unsafe during the my stay. - Very bad order on the outside. - Back deck is a view of the alley, not the front skyscrapers. I’m sure there are other things I’m missing but definitely, wouldn’t stay there again.

Grand Prix birthday tradition in Detroit

We love this property, exactly as described. Just beautiful. All the extra touches make this home a wonderful stay- complimentary snacks and beverages, extra pillows and blankets available. It’s very clean and well maintained. Home away from home :)

Tigers Weekend

Overall, very happy with our stay here. While the neighborhood itself was a little iffy (had a homeless man on our porch) the location is perfect for walking to Comerica or anywhere downtown. The house has plenty of space (2nd & 3rd floor) and stocked with plenty of snacks and beverages. Ed was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Cool historic home, walk to Greektown or the Riverwalk

The Beaubien house is a cool place to stay, walking distance to Greektown and the riverwalk, and to lots of bars and restaurants. Also walking distance to the people-mover that can get you all around Detroit. Area feels safe, though with a bit of a homeless-presence right outside. House is great and comfortable, not the luxury of a modern place with all en suite baths and King beds, if that's what you're looking for, but this place has more character. Lots of stairs if that's an issue (it wasn't for us).
