“The personnel is extremely nice and helpful. The room quality is not great, however good and in line with local standard. Quality/price is good. Position is ideal for going out and exploring. The windows are old some cannot be closed and the noise is quite some in the nighttime. Pigeons are also nesting outside the window, they should be eradicated with proper protection (ie spears for them not to sit)”

It's a modern hotel meaning you will get a comfort level that's different from most other offerings in Kathmandu. On the other hand you also lose some of the charm those places offer. Great rooftop pool, nice lounge with a view and a good breakfast. Our kids also enjoyed the stay. It's in the heart of the Thamel area with all it's pros and cons. Since it's on a side street you won't be distured by any noice...

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay between flights. I wouldn't be opposed to a longer stay if I needed to be in the area. The highlight was the breakfast made to order, and the coffee was delicious. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Kathmandu.”

“Perfect stay at Kumari Boutique Hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was clean and up to a good standard, and the hotel was beautifully decorated. The breakfast was also very good and the 12pm checkout time allowed me to do the Everest flight (6.15am), come back, and have a snooze before starting the day which was much needed. Highly recommended and would stay here again. ”

“Unfortunately not a very good hotel. The air conditioner is blowing right in the bed, making it impossible to turn it on when you sleep. And when you turn the AC off there is no air left in the room. And unfortunately, it is not possible to open the window. So no ventilation in the room at all. When you shower the water from the shower goes into the bedroom. And you can smell mold in the room. The staff was however very friendly and tried to help us, but in the end, we had to change the hotel....
