“Spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Living areas only suitable for a couple as very small. Property manager Luisa communicated regularly. The main reason we have given this property 4 stars is that it is overlooked by neighbouring properties so there is a lack of privacy. We enjoyed exploring the area - favourites were Seal Rocks and Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse.”

“Stayed over Easter, great property with so much to do…table tennis, basketball, golf, pool table, swimming and for night time, a great fire pit…we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Property was very clean and well kept”

“Location was good, being walking distance to One Mile Beach and the sand dunes. There were also a couple of coffee shops within walking distance. The accommodation was not very clean. There was a smell of dog, sticky carpet, stains and lots of dust behind the mattresses and in the toilet area. Price was reasonable but even for an older furnished house the cleanliness issue was not expected.”

“Amazing location - the beach is a hop and skip from the backyard! The place was perfect for me and the kids as it was a simple home and the property manager was so lovely and accommodating! Highly recommended and would stay again hopefully in the summer!”

“Such a beautiful location. We didn't have to go anywhere. Beach right in front and the house had everything. Was quite surprised by the full kitchen pantry. Also, loaded with books, games and toys. Kids absolutely loved it. They didn't want to leave! Wished we had a few more days. Time passed by too quickly.”

“Gorgeous home that embraces you with comfort, relaxation and peace! My favourite is lounge surfing around the vast old Aussie Verandah as the sun moves across the sky reading, writing, drawing. Beach and bush walks, our Jack Russels feel at home. Evelyn and Kerry are kindness itself and incredibly helpful with tips on local fare!”

“A lovely home that felt immediately relaxed. We enjoyed the set-up, mood and ease of the home. The back deck with its screened walls was a real treat and became the place we spent all our time in. Two bathrooms was very handy and the beds were extremely comfortable. I'll definitely book again given the opportunity.”

“We had a wonderful break at Crowdy Head House. The location is perfect! Directly across the road from the beach which stretches for about 19km - and that means there’s always space to get away from other beach goers (even in busy times). The house looks quirky, but is comfortable and has a rooftop eyrie from which you can enjoy sunset drinks with ocean views. Besides the quiet perfection of the beach, there’s the proximity to National parks and interesting historical locations - great walks...

“Really nice little villa with a good layout and well appointed. Only blemish on the property is the 9am checkout. I get cleaning is required but when you dont supply sheets and towels, a later checkout would make the exit process easier.”

“The property was clean, well equipped with LOTS of stuff provided to keep children and dogs entertained. The location is great, being central to both Diamond Beach and Black Head. The owners were very welcoming and honest. Our daughter lost her mobile phone and Dianne went out of her way to ensure it was sent back to us via express post. Fantastic home and well worth the spend. We will be back!”

“Only reason I gave 4 stars was there were so many mosquitoes. We just could not enjoy sitting outside or even for a walk in the park. I have never seen that much mosquitoes before. ”
