âI was given a room for disabled people. No idea why, as the hotel did not seem to be fully booked, and I am not disabled.
The shower had no hot water. I let it run for 5 mins and it was still cold. â

âWe are visiting from Australia and this place is absolutely awesome! Amazing location yet within walking distance to pubs / restaurants and town centre. Incredibly quiet being in a country setting and lots of opportunities for walks by the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly and we were able to have breakfast outside in the lovely garden. We felt well looked after. Highly recommend!â

The buildings are full of history but stylishly modernized and very attractive, as is the surrounding park and walk down to the Thames. Breakfast was great, and I appreciate in particular that I could take a morning swim in the hotel pool. â
