“The greeting and welcome was warm and friendly. The room was light and bright with super mountain view. The evening food was delicious and nothing too much trouble for the girl running the show. “The home is clean and comfortable. The host was lovely. There are no amenities (no breakfast) and the walk to town is considerable (and a rather large hill!). But, it was an excellent place to lay our weary heads. Check in and checkout were simple. ”

“Our stay was amazing. We only needed a place for one night as we went up the various locations in Ireland. While in Portmagee we had a great dinner at the Fisherman’s bar that was recommended upon our arrival. We did a bit of sight seeing and then headed back to our room for a quiet and relaxing evening. I highly recommend you add the breakfast to your stay as it is very complimentary to the stay. From the food to the coffee the breakfast is great. I definitely recommend this location to anyone...

“What might seem like an out of the way location is actually the perfect stop for a road trip through Ireland that includes the Ring of Kerry. This property is perfect for folks who want a quiet night in a picturesque coastal town. A short walk from Seagull takes you to a selections of bars and restaurants where you’ll be treated like a local. The host was welcoming, communicated early and often, and the Cottage was a cozy spot to rest after a long drive along the Ring. ”
