Unfortunately a ferocious howling wind blew up unexpectedly, which ripped open the tent's door flap (which we'd had cinched down tightly) and throttled the roof canvas; the cold of that wind blew through the additional door curtain and every space that wasn't solidly closed. “The property is absolutely beautiful, and the owners were so kind and welcoming! When our lighter stopped working, they immediately offered us a replacement, which we really appreciated. Everything was clean and well taken care of—the bathroom was clean and comfortable to use, and the shower was super easy to operate. The space also came stocked with thoughtful extras like dishes, towels, coffee, and a small powered cooler that definitely came in handy.The only downside is that the tents are set...

“This was the second time staying at Hope Acres. I loved it the first time. The second time was not so smooth. There was a red fire alert and we were not notified. We were not able to use the bbq or the fire pit. I felt like the host should have let us know in advance. Also I tried to call the host because I was not notified of the specific camp grounds and I never received a call back. The garbage’s were full and the outhouse we were supposed to use was also gross and full. ”
