“A family friendly old farmhouse which suited our 8 family members, aged from 3 to quite a bit older. Beautifully secluded with plenty of ground around the house and acres of exploring along the lake shore. We were there at the end of March and the weather was cool and blustery, though we didn't have much rain. Only a 5 minute drive to the lovely beach at Ballyhiernan Bay. “This was a good location for what we wanted to do. It was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed watching the sheep on the hills across the street. No neighbors to speak of which we appreciate. The house has a strong smell of mold but that is to be expected in an older Irish home. If you have allergies to mold be aware. The host was very responsive to questions via Expedia but we recommend some kind of instruction manual on how to turn on the heat.”

“Apartment was beautiful updated. Right on the main street. A few minute walk to the city center and water front. Parking was around the corner by an Aldi’s probably paid 10 euro for 3 days of parking. On suites in every bedroom, though shower stalls were tight but manageable. Also stairways to bedrooms was narrow. Would definitely stay again. Recommendations: Old Stone and Simple Simon for breakfast, La Bella Donna for dinner”
