“Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car.”

We have been traveling in Scotland for many years. 2022 and 2023 was the first time we stayed for three months with NO car! So many places to visit where you can be fine walking from train station to accomodation to golf to market to restaurants. This cottage in Tain was perfect for us.”
