“Great house!”

“This was our 4th trip to Cape May and our first time at the whaler’s cottage. It was a fun place to stay and make memories with our children and grandchildren. It sits on a quiet tree lined street with an awesome playground nearby. What we liked: There were plenty of bedrooms and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom and outdoor showers were great. “There were four of us two adults and two teenagers and two dogs and it accommodated us perfectly. I loved the touches of the outside shower and foot washing stations at the entrance to each of the decks. The gates were a huge Plus as well so the dogs could go out on the deck and I didn't have to worry about them. It was a short trek to the beach and we had it almost all to ourselves. The owner was accommodating as was the property manager. We would definitely stay here again.”

“This house is prettier than the photos, with breathtaking views of the Delaware Bay. The beach is literally outside your back door. Super clean, lots of space, modern appliances, well stocked kitchen, very well maintained property. It’s a quiet neighborhood with super nice neighbors. We loved walking on the beach with our dog. “The Mermaid Cottage has a wonderful beach vibe , it is the perfect beach getaway. And the cleanest house I ever rented!!! Just a short walk from beach to house we could go back and forth with the little ones with ease. The beds are so comfortable we all had a good nights sleep. The host provided many yard games to play after a day on the beach . The yard was a perfect space to hang out after a day at the beach! And there were bikes in great shape for a morning bike ride around the neighborhood. ...
