Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft!
In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here's what you need to know:
Before you set off:
1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah's UDot app and Wunderground's website (zip code 84762).
2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms.
Once snow arrives:
• Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended.
• Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay.
• Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly.
Keep in mind:
• Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly.
• While we're a small village, we're here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe.

Family Celebration Trip

Breathtaking cabin in Utah

I couldn't have a expected a more ideal location for our Southern Utah adventures. Perfectly located within driving range of the National Parks, Escalante, and Las Vegas, this cabin had everything we could have hoped for. A Beautiful patio, a hot tub for our post hike recovery, comfortable beds, a fireplace for the cool nights, and HUGE TV sets in every room. Communication was ideal, and the overall experience flawless. This has become our chosen spot for the area.

Peaceful Country Side Stay

This home was everything I was looking for and more. From the initial booking until the final rest we were prepared and knew what to expect due to the excellent communication. The host called prior to us arriving days before to make personal contact and answer any questions. Being that this was our first time it was very helpful to know about the grocery stores and activities and such. The home was pristine upon arrival and had everything we needed. It was conveniently located at the top of the mountains with lots of activities all around. We did horseback riding, fishing on a boat and fishing in a pound and the canyon tours on UTVs. It was a lot of first for us and such an awesome experience. The kids loved the house with the books, and games and hot tub. This is a must if anyone is thinking of doing this vacay. Thanks for a lovely vacay and family memories all 9 of us enjoyed from our 4 year old up to our 77 year old mother.
