Wee Glasshouse är en modern studio lägenhet på Fife kusten.

Wee Glasshouse är en modern studio i den pittoreska kuststaden Dalgety Bay. Det har utformats för att njuta av enastående utsikt över broarna och ligger på Fife kustvägen med sina många stränder och skogar.
Wee Glasshouse har vissa egenskaper som liknar vårt eget hus som filmade för More 4s "Building The Dream". TV-presentatör Charlie Luxton besökte flera gånger för att spela upp det framsteg med programmet som sändes i januari 2017.

Studion Lägenheten består av hall som leder till ett badrum med dubbel dusch. Trappan tar dig till vardagsrum med öppen planlösning med dubbelsäng, kök, vardagsrum med bäddsoffa och matbord. Lägenheten drar fördel av golvvärme och trippelglas i hela, ett larmsystem, LED-belysning, fjärrstyrda Velux-fönster med mörkläggningsgardiner, Bluetooth-musiksystem, WiFi och TV.
Köket är fullt utrustat och utrustat för din vistelse med användning av kyl / frys, spis, ugn, mikrovågsugn och diskmaskin.

Du kommer att ha full tillgång till alla bostadsområden i lägenheten och ha egen privat väg runt fastigheten till din ytterdörr. En fri parkeringsplats finns till höger om enheten eftersom du tittar på fastigheten från gatan.

Alan, som nu är pensionär, har över 15 års erfarenhet inom Hospitality Management, inklusive positionen Night Manager på den berömda 5-stjärniga resorten Gleneagles Hotel.
Under din vistelse kommer det alltid att finnas någon du kan kontakta personligen på fastigheten eller via telefon.

Wee Glasshouse ligger i ett lugnt kustområde med oavbruten utsikt över Firth of Forth, Forth Bridges och Queensferry Crossing. Det ligger längs Fife Coastal Path och är idealiskt beläget för att utforska det lokala området och andra viktiga turistattraktioner.
Några förslag på platser att besöka kan omfatta Edinburgh, St Andrews, Glasgow, The Trossachs, Dundee, Stirling och Perth som alla ligger inom en timmes bilresa.

Närmaste busshållplats ligger 3 minuters promenad från hotellet och en regelbunden busstrafik med länkar till Edinburgh, St Andrews, Dundee, Dunfermline och Ferrytoll Park och Ride. Park and Ride är en 10 minuters bussresa bort som sedan länkar till bussar som reser över hela Skottland och Edinburgh Airport.

Dalgety Bay Halt (järnvägsstation) ligger 15 minuters promenad bort och tågtjänster tar dig till Edinburgh eller uppför Fife Coast så långt som Dundee.

Edinburgh flygplats ligger 20 minuters bilresa bort och kan även nås med taxi eller Jet 747 flygbuss till Ferrytoll Park och Ride.

Unser Aufenthalt im Wee Glass House hat einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. Die Aussicht war unbeschreiblich und das Apartment selbst einfach eine Wucht. Am liebsten wären wir direkt eingezogen. Nicht nur weil es alles im Glass House gibt, was man braucht - und das modern und vom feinsten - sondern wegen unserer Gastgeber. Alan ist ein unglaublicher Mensch. Er war zuvorkommend und hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen uns alles zu erklären, was die ausgefeilte Technik im Apartment betrifft und hat sofort drauf bestanden uns mit dem Gepäck zu helfen. Auch hatte er für jedes unsere Anliegen ein offenes Ohr und alles sofort gemanagt. Was wir schön fanden war, dass er uns viel über die Natur vor Ort erzählt hat. Tatsächlich hat er zusammen mit anderen einen wundervollen Naturpfad angelegt mit Wildpflanzen und allerlei anderen schönen Dingen. Wir sind den Pfad mehrmals auf und abgewandert. Es war rundum perfekt und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank lieber Alan. Wir hoffen, dass wir uns irgendwann wiedersehen. Bis dahin wünschen wir dir und deiner Familie nur das Beste. The stay was excellent from beginning to end!Communication was perfect, very detailed instructions and information about the check in and house details The space was big and airy, the view was to die for, everything was spotless, and extras like milk, tea, coffee pods, TV games, projector, automated windows and blinds and much more, made it a wonderful stay!We were a party of 3 adults and one child, there was more than enough room to accommodate all of us.Thank you so much for this amazing value stay!

Moderne Wohnung mit herrlicher Aussicht

Die Wohnung hat eine wunderbare Lage in einem ruhigen Wohnort mit unverstelltem Blick auf den Firth of Forth und die tollen Brückenbauwerke. Der Check-In war ganz unkompliziert und der Vermieter Alan stand uns stets sehr hilfsbereit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und komfortabel eingerichtet und in einem tadellosen und sauberen Zustand. Am Ort kann man sich problemlos selber versorgen und die Unterkunft bietet sich sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Fahrten nach Edinburgh an. Mit dem Überlandbus (5 Minuten Fußweg zur Bushaltestelle) ist man für kleines Geld und bequem ohne Umstiege in 50 Minuten mitten in der Stadt. Ebenso historische und romantische Ziele bietet das direkte Umland des "Königreichs Fife".Wir nutzten die Wohnung für den Abschluss unserer Schottlandreise und können sie nur empfehlen!

Highly recommend - just beautiful

What a memorable stay in this beautifully located apartment.The views over the Firth of Forth are spectacular and the Fife coastal path is just outside the door - again with beautiful views of the area.We stayed for a week and our host Alan was so thoughtful and kind. He has thought of everything to make a stay at the Wee Glasshouse memorable.The location is ideal for exploring the Fife coast and is also very convenient for travelling to Edinburgh and the airport. We will certainly be back - thank you Alan for providing us with the perfect accommodation for our nostalgic tour around Fife.

Memorable visit to Dalgety Bay

A little gem of a place overlooking the Firth of Forth and the three Edinburgh bridges including the iconic Forth Rail Bridge.The accommodation is spectacular and short of nothing, you don't need to pull on the Velux blinds or keep opening and shutting them because like the lights, it's all voice activated courtesy of Mr Google!The location is fabulous and very easy to get into Edinburgh or explore other parts of Scotland by car. The train station in Dalgety Bay takes right into the heart of Edinburgh and is about 15-20 min walk up the road. Alan is an absolute star! He could not do enough for us. such a lovely guy.Take my advice as stay here you won't regret it!

Perfect with a spectacular view

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view is spectacular! The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood with a lovely walking path along the water. Alan was so friendly, helpful, gives great suggestions, and gave us all the information we needed for getting into Edinburgh and was quickly responsive when we needed help figuring out the buses. The best hosts ever

My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks on our honeymoon and honestly I cannot say enough good things about Alan and the Wee Glasshouse!! The house was carefully designed-unique-clean-and super comfortable. The view was spectacular-as well as the coastal path that is right across from it where you can take a nice, long walk among the wildflowers and next to the ocean. :) Alan is a SUPERhost for good reason. So kind and willing to help at anytime. We're mates now! I can't wait to stay again :)

Absolutely Perfect Spot

Where to begin?! We loved our stay in the Wee Glass House. Our host was amazing and so friendly. It was probably the cleanest and most well kept place we have ever stayed. The kitchen is fully furnished and our host even had a few goodies there for us already! The view is absolutely gorgeous and there is a river walk right across the street. If you’re interested in taking a bus to Edinburgh or surrounding areas, the bus stop is very close to the house. We walked there in just a couple minutes. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back some day. I can’t recommend this property enough!

Weekend away

Had a nice, relaxing couple of nights at the wee glass house. It was lovely, very modern, well equipped, spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Lovely view too. Perfect for some quiet time. Also handy if visiting Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Our hosts made us very welcome too. Would love to visit again.

Highly recommend!!! This studio apartment is in a prime location with a tremendous view of The Forth Bridge, an engineering wonder of the world. With the Fife Coastal path directly across the road, the local train station within a 20 mins walk and the motorway a 15 mins drive it is a prime location. There are also plenty of shops, supermarkets and restaurants close by. The apartment is immaculate and very well maintained. It has everything you need, making it a home from home. The hosts are very friendly and always on hand to help. We stayed here for three weeks on our visit to Scotland from Australia. It will be our first choice of places to stay the next time we visit.

Perfect Place To Stay

The Wee Glass House is just across the firth from Edinburgh. The view of the firth, the bridges, and the city are amazing! The house looks exactly as it's presented in the images on VRBO. It was easy to access, very convenient for either driving anywhere (we went to the highlands and as far as Glen Coe one day) or taking the bus or train into the cities. Very short walk to the bus, very short drive to the train station. Alan was helpful & responsive. Great host. The bed was comfortable, the home was immaculately well kept. Just can't say enough about this place other than to say I wish I lived there.

Alan is a superb host that anticipates every possible need for travelers. The Wee Glass House is a Smart House! So many cool gadgets which Alan fully explained on arrival. This stay was more than just a typical VRBO stay, the host was so helpful in every imagist way by sending us links to the bus schedules, suggestions on travel routes and history lessons on the bridges in the area. A most excellent experience that we’d definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a gorgeous view, friendly/knowledgeable host and off the beaten path yet close to the bus line.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

A fab spot which has all you need for a weekend (or longer) getaway. Alan is a great host. We were in the city for the half marathon and Alan answered lots of questions we had about getting to the city for the event etc. Should we find ourselves in Edinburgh in the future, we'll be checking for availability at the Wee Glass House!

Wonderful place, beautiful location and great hosts!

This place was a beautiful home away from home for the 3 nights we stayed there! Alan was there to meet us and help us with our luggage and show us around the property. It is a beautiful place and a great location to easily catch a bus to Edinburgh or drive to any other sights. We could have stayed longer and enjoyed every minute!
