“We were checked in by Julia, who went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome. The room was beautiful and clean. Excellent size bathroom, great addition with the washer and dryer. I was really pleased with the whole experience and will certainly book here again in the future, and recommend to other family visiting Ballarat! Thank you for your exceptional service :)”

“The hotel was beautifully renovated with many original fittings. It is in a great location for shopping and dining, with all the major stores within walking distance. The staff were very nice and replied promptly to some questions I had before check in. I was only there overnight and didn't get up in time for breakfast but the menu looked great. My only very minor negative comment would be that the bed was very creaky. I would definitely stay there again next time I visit Ballarat. ”

“The room was good and check in friendly and helpful.
A couple of draw backs, the noise from bands playing until late was annoying and the balcony was more of a shared verandah and not separated from the adjoining room, as they were smokers we couldn’t sit outside without breathing their smoke. Also there was only one table and 2 chairs and an old bench seat for the two rooms. ”
