“Rooms need a good scrub. Bed are pretty rough but it’s à La Quinta so maybe my expectations were off a bit. The outside of the building was nice. The rooms, not so much. I’d probably look elsewhere in the future.”

“Upon arrival, I was surprised to learn the hotel is under renovation. It would have been nice to know that detail ahead of time. Construction noise wasn't an issue, but it did impact the stay. The regular entrance was closed off, requiring guests to walk around to the side of the building. I felt like signage could have been better; walking around the outside of the building at dusk as a solo female was a little disconcerting. The temporary check-in area was a desk set up in the hallway. ...

“Room was at par with other places I have stayed. Staff was pleasant and attentive. They have an in house kitchen /restaurant for food and drinks if desired. Close to the freeway but was on the other side so was quiet. Not in a busy area.”

A fourth family showed up after me. The lady working there took the cats outside and never returned. The only other person working was on a phone call for over 30 minutes trying to figure out if there were any clean rooms left before he finally gave a room to the family who showed up AFTER me - the same double...
