We really enjoyed the patio and being able to watch the golfers come by and watch the wildlife in the creek right off the patio. We watched a little beaver working along the banks of the creek every day. Inside, the house was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. And, if you are in town to play golf, this house is less than a minute’s drive from a great golf course. We would definitely consider staying here again if we visit Durango.

This is a great place to stay. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the washing machine spin cycle being so loud you couldn't hear anyone talking.

Dalton Ranch

This is a nice house in a good location. We have stayed in downtown Durango in the past and this time wanted to be a little out of town.It was a quiet neighbourhood, though we did hear the steam train whistle a couple of times - a bonus for us as we had come to Durango to ride on it!

Three week stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location in Dalton Ranch.Very good service from VRC, check in easy, very responsive to questions and a maintenance issue. The general condition of the property is fair. The front walk is overgrown with plants on either side. The unbeatable views would be better if the the bushes on either side of the patio were cut back. They block the views to the right and left, many bees in the bush on the left. The grill is very old, rusted and sort of serviceable. Tried to grill three time, only able to light the grill twice. Need a new one.The armrest of one patio chair is unravelling, and all the cushions are very old and mostly ripped on at least one side. The sliding patio door needs care in opening and will not stay fully closed unless a stick is inserted in the track and against door. The layout of the townhouse is very good and the downstairs bedroom and bath are very nice. The property just need some TLC in order to receive five stars.

The property is as described. Kitchen and baths are original without updates. However, the kitchen counters/grout need a deep cleaning. The power was out for 2 hours due to a storm. No flashlights on the property.
