“Our stay at Steve's cottage last week was nothing short of magical. The highlight, without a doubt, was the **absolutely spectacular sunset view over Penn Lake, right from the private dock. Winding down each evening watching the sky explode in color over the calm water was an unforgettable experience – a view truly rare to find and worth the trip alone!The lake itself felt alive and welcoming. We loved watching the big fish swimming right under the deck and were charmed daily by a sweet family...

“We all enjoyed our stay at Leslie's cottage by the river. We spent a lot of time lounging on the dock, enjoying the patio set, and canoe and kayaks provided! Leslie's communication was amazing, we even got tips on where to find some really cool waterfalls just minutes away from our location. I slept in the bunkie myself, and found it very comfortable. The kitchen had lots of space, and the kids took advantage of the tv in the living room. We would definitely recommend staying here! ”

“Great spot clean and comfortable swimming was excellent even the little one. Internet slow a bit but did the job. Would definitely return but never caught any fish over 3 ful.l days which was strange ”

“This cottage was everything we hoped for and more — a beautiful lake setting, peaceful and quiet surroundings, and every comfort and amenity we could need. The views were absolutely picturesque, and it was the perfect spot for our family to relax, laugh, and make memories together. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first cottage rental for a family of 10 getaway. Very nice setting and convenient location to nearby activities/stores.The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and the whole cottage provided comfort. ( beds, pillows, furniture)The sandy beach and water depth was perfect for kids. They loved it.After a string of hot days the cottage was extremely hot. Overhead fans in 3 of the bedrooms somewhat helped, but additional portable fans for the master bedroom and living room...

“The property is beautiful, and very well maintained. It was great to spend the days with the kids playing lacrosse, and playing with the dogs on the very large yard, then off to the lake to cool off. Kitchen was a great size for all guests to eat and easily cook meals. The games room was an amazing place to play cards, pool, or just sit and chat in the evening, or the kids would go up to watch a moving or read to get away from everyone. If they wanted a loud space it was there and if someone...

“Overall good! Only a few issues that came up. When we arrived the cottage floor was not well cleaned. The carpet had chips from the previous users. We also had a heavy rain which caused a washout of the driveway leaving a heavy crevice in the road. The owners of the cottage were not responsive to this issue. The waterfront was wonderful though and we overall had a good week. ”

The whole boat house was very clean and organized. Communication was very easy. Everyone was so kind and helpful. “Wonderful week with family (kids aged 10-17). The cottage was beautiful. Kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. The dock was a great place to hang out and fish. Lovely deep water off the dock and the water trampoline was a great place to bounce or have a nap depending on your age. We loved the nearby town of Dwight with 2 delicious bakeries. Our vacation week was perfection. ”
