“Stayed here for a weekend while hiking Old Rag in Shenandoah. Cozy little place that was well equipped with all the amenities we needed! It's conveniently located close to Shenandoah as well as plenty of vineyards. Would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in the area!”

“The property was clean and had everything we needed including some extras. The host was wonderful and helped us when we were in a bind. The communication with the host was fantastic. The location was also great; quiet and secluded spot but very close to Shenandoah National Park. We had a very nice stay.”

“Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said...

“Cute older house in a great location. Quiet neighborhood. Screened in patio provides an extra hangout place. Only 1 full bathroom, but it's very large. Kitchen is also large. Nicely appointed. Kids enjoyed seeing two deer and what we think was a groundhog in the yard.”

Though Elkton, Va might not be the vacation destination for many, if you are passing through, or planning a trip through the Shenandoah, you definetly want to stay here! Responsive and kind host that takes an interest in her guests stay! I highly recommend! You cannot go wrong staying here.”

“The place is exactly as described.....secluded horse farm. Woke up this morning to a beautiful sunrise with horses all around and the friendliest kitties. If you love animals this is the place to be. Would like to come back in the fall for a visit.”

It was a good fit for us with our small dog and was a short drive to the places we wanted to visit. We were there for a long weekend and it is along a busy street so the only drawback was the traffic noise during the day.”
