EVERGREEN COTTAGE

  • EVERGREEN is a cozy cottage and Pine tree plantation located next to the Quachita National Forrest. We just opened in July and have been booked up until Mid December from guest all over the United States. We are close to 3 mountains and Nimrod Lake. We are an hour from Hot Springs National Park and an hour from Little Rock National Airport. The cottage features a Jason whirlpool bath, full size Pac-Man arcade game, Rock fire pit, covered parking, barn with electric hook up for RV parking, comfy beds, riding trails for side by sides or 4-wheelers, and 5 ponds for fishing,
    This cottage has everything you need. We even have snacks and drinks for our guest. Our past guest have especially enjoyed meeting the horses (for petting only ). We also provide horse treats for the kiddos to give to them. We hope you enjoy your stay at Evergreen and come back to see us.

We really enjoyed Evergreen Cottage. It is very well equipped, and check in was a breeze. Mary Beth is a very attentive and considerate host. I would go back.

The house and property are southern charm at its best and brightest from the cozy inviting atmosphere of the home to miles of ATV trails and beautiful landscapes of the hay fields. This is the quiet peaceful dog friendly retreat that you didn't know you needed that can be as exciting or as relaxing as you wish. There's chocolate gravy served for breakfast just about a mile down the road as well as home cooked lunches and plenty of essentials in case you forgot or need anything during your visit. Beth is an incredibly friendly host and she really does go that extra country mile to make your experience at Evergreen nothing short of amazing and I will definitely be booking again for years to come.

Mary Beth was an absolute amazing host! The house felt like a home away from home ! She was amazing to our group and communicated very well! Any little problem we had (nothing major at all, mainly what snacks we can share with the horses) she was right there! Our group can not wait to come and spend more time here at Evergreen!!

Terrible experience. We found bed bugs!! Host denied having them and was unprofessional about the situation. Save yourself from getting bed bugs!! Attached is proof

Weekend Getaway

Our gang enjoyed our stay at the Evergreen! Kids loved the pac-man arcade game. Mary Beth was a great host!

Quick weekend reset

Found this lovely home with in 1 hour 1/2 from hot spring, Little Rock, and magazine mountain range.

Nice place

Loved the atmosphere of the home. Very welcoming with big comfy couches. Made use of the kitchen and was able to have a home cooked meal while traveling rather than having to eat out. Will stay again.

Wonderful get away

We had a lot of fun and it was so pretty. Her neighbors let us help feed the baby cows! It smelt so good when you walk in and had a beautiful view! We will come back again!

Nice and quite

Very nice place to relax. Enjoyed all the the little extras very thoughtful ! All the furniture was very comfortable. We did need more room for our clothes and personal belongings etc. maybe hooks in bathroom. Would stay here again.

Quiet Country Home

The home worked perfectly for us. It was a ways away from any stores but we knew that going in and were prepared. Anything we needed, we either had it or the homeowner had it available. We had no complaints and would stay there again.

Exactly what I needed!

This property was exactly as described. It was very remote and peaceful. I was able to bottle feed a newborn calf! They let me roam all over their property in the atv. I think my dog may have enjoyed it more than me. The host was very upfront and easy, I would recommend.

Comfortable and cozy home in the country

The home was comfortable and updated in a peaceful country setting with ponds and pastures to explore. We only stayed overnight so didn't have that opportunity. Maybe another time. The host was great had provided pretty much anything that was needed. There was a great little country store that had a little of everything if you forgot something. The host has done a lot to bring the family home place back to life. I know she will keep adding more wonderful updates to the place.

The house was nice. The owner has a negative attitude and we will not stay here again!

Negative. We arrived at 9 pm, the washing machine broke and there was water everywhere. The owner cleaned and mopped. However the chemicals she used were so strong I had a migraine headache for 2 days. I don’t recommend this property.

Slice of heaven!

Mary Beth definitely deserves the super host title! My family and I had a wonderful time! Mary Beth thought of everything you could ask for and made our Christmas extra special! Evergreen us a clean, peaceful place with a store and quaint little restaurants nearby. Next time we'll bring our side by side! Thank you Mary Beth for the hospitality!
