Water was warm 1st week of August with tan powder sandbars all over the beach. Lots of space and not too busy. The surrounding area has much poverty, while right on the edge of the marina … food at the lakeside restaurants was just ok. No fresh catch options from the lake on any of the menus…So disappointing. “The house is beautiful and the location is a few minutes walk from downtown greendale. We were able to walk there every morning, drink coffee, and relax. This was the highlight of our trip. The inside of the house was lovely, stocked with towels, kitchen items, paper towel, etc. Everything looked clean and the outside area was very well maintained. “This house and location were the perfect spot to host a bachelorette party! It had plenty of space and was decorated beautifully. We enjoyed having the upper and lower parts of the house to have space for everyone to get ready, play games and hang out together. The backyard was the perfect spot to lounge as well. Downtown, the beach, and most places you would want to go are all within a short walking distance from this great home. Would highly recommend!”

“Communication with the hosts was clear from the start. My elderly parents got there first and checked in on time having no issues with the code. I got there shortly after & had an email with a phone number to contact right away with any issues (which we never needed but appreciated). The house is truly set up to be a home-away-from home with nearly everything we could need or want to make our stay pleasant. We had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy ourselves during our down time.”

“The game room atmosphere is perfect - we spent a lot of time chilling down there after returning from the lake. The rest of the home is spacious and spotless, and (thankfully) has a stocked coffee bar. The house is located close to downtown and directly across the street from mini golf. We'd happily stay here again on a future trip.”
