“Very good setup for a large family with plenty of room for our three sons and our grandkids. Bunk room was a hit with the 8 year olds. Very nice setup on the deck with three tables. We ate all our dinners out there. Steps to the lake were not steep. We really liked having two picnic tables at the lake for eating snacks and lunch. The kayaks and paddle board were constantly in use. ”

“The cabin is beautiful! There was plenty of room for my family of 5. The lakefront is accommodating. It was nice to have a sturdy dock to park our boat. The lake has a sandy bottom by the dock. The Cabin was very clean and well kept. The host are wonderful to work with and are very responsive. The only inconvenience was, we had to share the waterfront, canoe and the kayaks with the cabin next door. The upside, we had separate docks. ”

“Our family had a great experience and would rent again. While there are a few homes nearby, the lake felt very secluded and private. You can hear the road nearby but it did not take away from our experience. The proximity to Eagle River was also nice for activities with the kids and picking up a few necessities.”

“This property was advertised as immaculate and well appointed in every room. We did not find that to be an accurate description. The cleanliness was fair…mold in the bathroom caulk…a toilet that leaked condensation on the floor…mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers…a dish drainer that needed bleach and a cleaning brush.The kitchen supplies were abysmal. If you intend to kick back and cook and eat in, it’s nearly impossible in this property: one mixing bowl….no measuring spoons or dry...

“The lake access is great, its 20 steps from the main house and the beach area has a nice sandy bottom going out into the lake, perfect for swimming. Arbutus Lake is quieter, mostly property owners so you don't get speedboats or jet skis blasting around. There were probably 2 days during our stay where nobody else was on the lake, just us.It's about 10 minutes to get into Eagle River so perfect for shopping or dining out as well.We stayed during a particularly hot stretch and (as advertised) the...

“We had a wonderful time. The property is in a great central location on the chain. The house was well stocked with everything you might need. It was very clean. Comfy beds and plenty of wood to have fires in the evening. The dock was perfect for our boat. Would definitely reccomend. ”

“My wife has a appeal for A-framed houses and this one was great with the addition of a sauna. The view was wonderful and cannot be really topped. For the negatives, it's priced too high for what it offers. The space is only 225 sq feet but you would be paying similar for larger cabins with similar accommodations.
