“Our family was in Lexington for our cadets graduation from VMI. Location is close enough to town that we could travel back and forth easily to attend multiple events throughout the day. The only feedback I provided to the property manager was the small size and thinness of the bath towels. If you enjoy a luxurious towel after your shower, be sure to bring your own. “Three friends gathered for a “guys weekend” in Lexington. Buffalo Bend was a great place to stay as a base for hiking, paddling, and seeing Lexington and Natural Bridge. Love the outdoor covered patio area, hot tub, fire pits, and grills. Note you are right next to the highway, but the cars lessen by bedtime. Also only the one bathroom, but it was enough. I’d certainly stay again.”

“We only stayed one night but the home served us well. We hiked and bike, so home's proximity to Jackson River Scenic Trail and Lake Moomaw was very convenient. House was a modest ranch style. Kitchen was well stocked. Water smelled of sulfur, but owners said it had been tested and was deemed potable. Setting of home was rural and pretty, ensuring lovely views from the outside deck and gazebo.”

“We spent 4 days at the house with my wife, mother-in-law, and daughters with their boyfriends. Everyone had a great time. House is very well stocked with everything we needed.
