“3 sets of sisters (7 of us) spent a delightful long weekend at Water Trough Hill. The house met our needs perfectly! Lots of room to spread out; 4 bathrooms was a bonus; the views are amazing with outstanding sunsets; the kitchen is well stocked; there was plenty of hot water and lots of big fluffy towels. Stephanie is a great hostess. She had the house opened up for us, fruit on the counter and milk in the fridge. She was very responsive to any inquiry we made and was happy to introduce us...

“Cottage is as advertised plus more. Location was smack in the of attractions and restaurants. When asking questions the reply is quick. Cottage was clean and fully stocked. This was our first VRBO where coffee, sugar and cream was supplied so it was one less thing to pack for our trip. Bed was comfortable with enough blankets to bake under (we had to remove one of the comforter). If you forget any toiletries dont worry they have a basket of commonly used items. They think of everything for you...

“This place has potential, but there are several things that need to be done for the property to bring it up to the standard of a vacation rental. First and foremost, it needs a deep cleaning. We spent our first full day of vacation cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds are awful. Awful. The appliances are in need of replacement. “Our family enjoyed all the rooms & amenities at the house. Everything was beautiful. The pool & kayaking were a hit. Touring the Greenbrier bunker was educational for all of us. I emailed the owner about a couple of things & he responded promptly. A great place for all of us!”
