“We booked based on price and reviews. This had good reviews. Lobby was clean and check in smooth. But that is where our experience ended being positive. We got to our room and it REEKED of cigarette smoke. We went back to desk to ask for a nonsmoking room and he said all rooms were non smoking and they were full so no changes he offered to spray deodorizer and we accepted that offer. Upon opening shades we then see that the floors had not been cleaned, like in a long time! Coffee stains...

“Property is located north of center city in a neighborhood of mostly small businesses. Building and grounds look clean from the outside. Easy access from 301. Room was a good size with new beds, fridge, micro and TV. Walls were noticeably dirty and need fresh paint. No clothes rod or hooks. Tiny bath was sub-standard with mis-matched & patched ceramic tile. No electric outlets in the bathroom. Mirror was dirty. Tiny sink top had numerous cigarette burns and stains. Tiny 36 x 36 stall...

A big hug to the fantastic staff that did us the great service and sent us our sons Nintendo-game that he had left in the safe in the room!. “Be sure to lower your standards. Room looked like a crime scene. I don't even want to know how many people overdosed in that bed. Dirty, in disrepair, COCKROACHES IN THE MICROWAVE! “Avoid at all costs. The photos of the room I have seen prior to booking were all a complete lie. The room was dirty, there were bugs popping up frequently, the floorboards were not fully leveled, and there were multiple holes and cracks in the walls. No appliances for food either and the wifi is terrible. There was also no smoke alarm which I believe is a serious violation. You're better off paying a few more bucks for somewhere else nearby, especially if you are there for Kings Dominion.”

“I booked the hotel stating explicitly that we needed a room for 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids, 14, 17 and 17. When we came to the hotel they charged us $10 extra for a fold out bed, as it was obvious that you can't fit 3 kids in a queen size bed. This was not what we expected. I did not expect this from either Hotels.com nor the hote.”
