I typically donât leave poor reviews, but feel compelled to do so hereâŠWhen we got to the house, we were excited by its cute appearance and the charm of the surrounding neighborhood⊠However, the second we opened the door we were immediately hit in the face by the smell of musk.The accessories and adornments were also in incredibly poor condition. Sliding doors were off their tracks in one guest bedroom, the curtain rod was loose and appeared to dislodge from the wall from just opening them, and an old door handle broke from daily use just to go into the backyard. The screen doors have been hastily patched up from holes over the years and the age of the house generally showed through creaky floors, and a general lack of care that has likely worn the house out in other ways over the years.Perhaps most importantly, the owner was also unfriendly and immediately started snapping pictures of all the old and overused aspects of the home, blaming us for their appearance and telling us things were broken (such as the sliding doors and curtains) which were literally that way when we arrived. She even tried to blame us for the TV not working, despite the fact we never even turned it onâŠWe will not be going back, and wouldnât recommend it unless itâs your very last option and youâre willing to deal with a difficult owner.
