“** RENTER BEWARE **I originally rented the Bumble Bee Cottage from 1/28/26 through 1/31/26 (spoiler: I left 1/30 because of the nastiness described below). We were lied to that the previously noted maintenance issues were repaired (sewage leak into basement and broken washer/dryer filled with mud). Kitchen was filthy with food encrusted utensils. Only 2 forks (dirty!) for a place that sleeps 6. We believe the manager is a chabot. ”

“One of the best properties we’ve stayed over the past 10 years. Communication was beyond amazing, anything we needed or asked, the host responded to within minutes. The property is on a nice quiet street, it’s very cozy and decorated nicely, makes you feel like you’re at home. “The house was very clean and the nostalgic decor took us back to our chilhood. Brenda, the host was great to work with from the booking until the checkout. We would definitely stay here again.”

“The home overall was pleasant with a few problems that ultimately kept it from being perfect.These problems include the following:1) Many items in the kitchen were dirty upon arrival.2) The wifi was borderline unusable in the living room. This wouldn't have been a problem if it weren't for the fact that there was nowhere to setup my computer anywhere else in the house. I would heavily recommend adding a small desk in the master bedroom or adding a wifi mesh extender in the hallway by the laundry...

“The owners spent a ton of money remodeling the place and did a good job. We rented it for the holidays but the day before the cleaners noticed a problem and the owners had to call us to cancel our reservation. At first that sounds horrible, but it was not due to their neglect and had they allowed us to stay the result would have been less then great. I am thankful they sacrificed their income to make sure we did not experience a bad rental.”
