“This was the perfect place to stay for a trip to see family over the holidays. The location is wonderful for the ships in Macedonia or accessibility to Cleveland and surrounding cities. The place itself was a great peaceful retreat after long days of visits with family. Highly recommend this property!”

“Great place to stay for seeing the surrounding area or if you’re in town for some reason. I personally couldn’t get ahold of anyone to talk with during the stay, which put us on a time crunch that we could’ve avoided. Other than that issue the place was clean and tended to the needs we had at the same rate of a hotel but more room to ourselves and less hassle. I’d give a 5 star if I were able to easily communicate with someone involving any concerns or issues we have. ”

“Cottage had been redone on the inside and was adequate for our needs. Horrible weather storm went through towards the end of our stay. The cottage lost power for a number of days making it impossible to continue the stay and we ended up in a hotel for 6 nights.”

“My family loved this house! It had so many nice touches. The fenced in backyard was beautifully landscaped and the hot tub was pristine. We used the pool table, ping pong table and darts in the basement several times. We enjoyed the two family rooms for reading and relaxing. And the golf cart was a nice bonus for going to the beach, exploring the town and getting ice cream at Fairport Harbor Creamery. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.”

“Nice house. Decorated nicely. It is an old place (thinking circa 1900), so going upstairs was a chore. The stairs are extremely narrow and steep. They did a nice job of making us feel welcome. The area is industrial, there were a lot of trains throughout the night. We did feel safe staying there. It is in a great location when it comes to exploring Cleveland. Very close to everything. All in all, we had a good stay. ”

“Perfect location if you are looking for a place close to any event at the Tall Oaks Resort. House was very clean and nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, kitchen had all l needed when fixing meals for the family. Over all we had a very pleasant stay. ”
