“The pictures and description are 100% accurate, but being there in person to take in the peaceful surroundings and views of nature with the family was a great experience. The hostess was responsive from the moment we booked and provided all the info we needed to make it to this mountain top cabin on the VA/WV border. We drove up on a Friday and after getting out of DC traffic we were on our way to Almost Heaven cabin. When we’re about a mile or so from the cabin we saw a black bear crossing...

“We were in town for the comedy show at the casino. House was within walking distance however not a walk you would want to take wearing heels. Very quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants close by. The house was very clean and comfortable beds. Had a really great time!! Thank you!!!”

“Would consider this stay again, very close to hiking/scenic West Virginia, and Petersburg. The house looks bigger in person. Also, Chad and Amber live right next door, really enjoyed chatting with them when we checked out.”
