“Place was great for us and the kids. It's small but enough room where you don't feel cooped up and ar bumping into eachother. House is clean and stocked with everything you need (linens, towels, beach supplies and even sunscreen) unlike many other places. Beach was great at high tide to swim. Low tide was nice but had to walk really far out to cool off. Was happy to have AC/minisplit to cool off with this heat. Would definitely come again.”

“The Velvet Crab was just as pictured. What a haven. We wanted to do some different exploring on the Cape, since it's been a few years, but it was really hard to leave this sanctuary. We'd go out for a few hours and then couldn't wait to come back and just hang out. Loved the kayak, being on the pond, just everything. We'd love to come back. Tara and her people were very responsive, and we appreciated them letting us check in a few hours early. ”

“Perfect place for our nine day Cape Cod adventures! Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. The cottage itself was adorable and very comfortable. We enjoyed the outside deck, the firing, the boat dock, chairs, and I even took the kayak out twice, which was very, beautiful and relaxing. We only did breakfasts at the cottage, but the kitchen had everything we needed. The best part of the cottage for us were the E bikes!! “Cosy retreat with pond view. Great for canoeing with the dog. Sweet porch for reading and morning coffee. Tara was an excellent host who communicated immediately and went well above and beyond to correct an issue that was out of her control.A great central location that allowed us to roam freely to our favorite beaches, hikes, and restaurants. We will gladly return in the future. ”
