Orchard House

Welcome to the Orchard House. We’re tucked away into a peaceful seven acre fruit farm, and we are open year-round so you can enjoy the island in every season.
The home is priced for two guests, but you’re welcome to bring up to two additional people-the loft can comfortably accommodate them, and we provide a quality air mattress with fresh bedding. Please note that the space isn’t suitable for small children.
The downstairs bedroom includes a charming electric fireplace that adds an extra touch of coziness. The full kitchen is equipped with a farmhouse sink, propane stove and oven, refrigerator, toaster, and coffeemaker-plus all the dishes, cookware, and utensils you’ll need. We also provide coffee and tea to help you settle right in.
The house includes a full-size bathroom with a walk-in shower and on-demand hot water. You’ll stay comfortable year-round with a heat pump for both heating and A/C, and we provide fast fiber WI-FI for all your needs,
In season, we love to share fresh, farm grown fruit and flowers with our guests. You’re also welcome to stop by our little farmstand to purchase fresh eggs during your stay. Step outside to your own private deck, complete with a propane fireplace and BBQ for cozy evenings. You’re also welcome to wander into the apple orchard and relax among the trees. We’re conveniently located just 5 miles from the ferry landing and another 5 miles from the village, where you’ll find charming shops, great restaurants, and the local museum. Spend your days exploring miles of hiking trails, swimming in the lakes of Moran State Park, kayaking along the shoreline, whale watching and so much more. During the quieter months, this cottage becomes the perfect place to unwind with a good book and a warm drink, letting the peaceful surroundings do the rest.
