“The house is in a wonderful location and made a great home base for our trip. That said, there were a few details that could use some attention to improve the overall guest experience. We noticed some areas could have been cleaned more thoroughly—particularly under the furniture and around the shower vent. “This camp is a great place to unwind! The boulder deck is an awesome place to relax and enjoy an adult beverage. Check-in was a breeze, and Mike corrected a sleeping arrangement issue quickly. I spent most mornings drinking my coffee on the deck. It was a great way to start my day. The internet was intermittent, so streaming a movie at night may be an issue. All in all, it was a great place to spend two weeks enjoying Down East.”

“The property was clean, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The lake front is beautiful, quiet and easily accessible. Kids were able to enjoy the full advantage of the water play with kayaking and paddle boarding. We highly recommend the property for family vacation to escape to nature. ”

“Good location. Very easy to check in and quick communication with the host. The place fit us perfectly! The air conditioner was a bit loud and the room felt a little damp. Other than that, it was a very cozy stay!”

“Stayed with my husband and kids and had an amazing time. The bunkhouse was exactly as described. Comfortable beds and the window air conditioner were a nice surprise. The rocky swim area, kayaks, and s'mores while sitting by the fire provided the perfect place to unwind and make amazing memories with kids. 100% will return!”

“A quaint and clean stay. Mattress were all comfortable but we didn’t sleep in the daybed. There were two cold air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms. The bathroom was clean and updated but on the main floor. It was not a problem for us but it could be helpful to know-f it was in the listing, I missed it. We made a stop on our way at the grocery and found everything we needed to prepare our meals, in the kitchen. Grill was in good shape. Washer and dryer with soap and dryer sheets...

“A beautiful and quiet spot on the water, only a few miles from town. We heard loons and saw a bald eagle grab a fish from the pond. The house itself was cozy, clean, and comfortable. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this quaint and quiet tiny house in Bar Harbor. The accommodations were exactly as described—clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. Although we did not use the fire pit, that would be a nice addition to the cool Fall night. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and the hot shower was a welcome treat after a day of exploring Acadia. It was the perfect peaceful retreat and just what we were hoping for. Highly recommend!”
