“We had an amazing time at the purple door! We wrre able to brimg our fur baby which was a HUGE plus. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I arrived knowing we made a good choice. Its a very cute little place. There was never a claim to be a luxury, upscale rental. Yes there could be a few updates. The air conditioner worked fine for us in a heatwave. Short drive to reach Chincoteague and Assateague. Stocked with everything you need. I walked down the street and got a massage using the info provided in the house. “We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the home . From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the charm and comfort of the home. Moreover, a bouquet of flowers was placed on the island’s kitchen transforming the moment into a celebration. The fully stocked kitchen made this our home from home. It was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay again.”

“We rented this house with another family for a baseball tournament in Salisbury. The house was under 10 minutes from the field. And it sure beat a hotel as we had some extra down time. The place was charming, had comfy beds and was clean. We would stay again. ”
